Vinted description templates you can copy and edit

The practical answer

A useful Vinted description names the item, gives the labelled size, describes its actual condition and mentions any flaws. Use the templates below as a starting point, not as facts about your item. Check the label, take measurements when useful and replace every placeholder before publishing.

Copy a template, then make it yours

These are templates, not actual customer listings. Replace every bracketed detail and remove any line that does not apply.

What should a Vinted description include?

Write the details someone needs to decide whether the item is right for them: item type, brand when known, labelled size, colour and condition. Add relevant measurements and explain wear, repairs or missing parts. State the material only when you can confirm it from the label or other reliable information. A photo cannot tell you everything.

How do I adapt a template without sounding repetitive?

Keep a consistent order, but make the facts specific to each item. Replace vague phrases such as 'lovely top' with a concrete description of the cut, colour or fastening. Remove empty lines rather than filling gaps with guesses. Your description does not need to be long: a short, accurate paragraph is more useful than unrelated keywords or repeated promises.

When is generating from photos more useful?

A template works well when you already know what to write. When you have several photographed items, AutoLister can prepare the first title and description from each photo set instead. You still need to check the result and add facts that are not visible, such as measurements or a defect hidden from the camera. The extension drafts text; it does not publish the item for you.

Questions sellers ask

Can I reuse the same description template for several items?

Yes, reuse the structure, not the item details. Check the size, condition, measurements and flaws separately for every item. Remove claims that do not apply instead of copying them into the next listing.

Should I add lots of hashtags or brand names?

Keep the wording relevant to the item. Do not add unrelated brands, materials or styles just to catch searches. Use a clear title and description rather than treating a long list of keywords as a substitute for accurate details.

Are these templates free, and do I need an account?

The templates on this page are free to copy without an account. AutoLister's photo-based AI generation is a separate browser-extension feature, with 5 free generations after signup and paid plans for further use.
