A Vinted listing checklist for your next item

The practical answer

Before posting an item on Vinted, check that its photos, title and description agree. Show the item and its flaws clearly, verify the size and condition, then review the price and category. Tick the checklist below as you work. It is a preparation aid, not a guarantee of approval or sales.

What photos should I prepare?

Start with a clear view of the whole item. Add the back, useful details and readable size or material labels where available. Include close-ups of wear and flaws instead of leaving them for the description alone. Keep other items out of the frame when they could make it unclear what is included. Check the photos at full size before moving on.

Which facts need checking by hand?

Read the label and inspect the actual item. A photograph may hide a loose seam, an odour, a repair or a missing part. Take relevant measurements instead of estimating them from an image. If a brand, material or model is uncertain, do not present a guess as a fact. Describe the uncertainty or leave out the unsupported detail.

How should I review an AI-generated listing?

Treat the output as a first draft, not a completed inspection. Compare every factual claim with the item, especially brand, size, material and condition. Add flaws that the photos missed and remove invented accessories or claims about authenticity. AutoLister helps with writing; choosing the price, checking the listing and deciding to publish remain your responsibility.

Questions sellers ask

Can I use this checklist on my phone?

Yes. The checklist works in your browser without an account. Ticks are only for the current page session and reset when the page is reloaded. The AutoLister extension has a separate device setup.

Do I need measurements for every item?

Add them when they help explain fit or size, especially when the label does not tell the whole story. Only include measurements you have actually taken, state the units and explain what was measured. Do not infer them from a photo.

Does completing the checklist guarantee my item will sell?

No. It helps you prepare a clearer, more accurate listing. Demand, price, the item's condition and other factors still affect a sale. Neither this checklist nor an AI-written description guarantees visibility or a buyer.
